Windsurfing: felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: S
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: Smooth then choppy rollers
Air Temperature: 19
Sea Temperature: 13
Weather: sun
Max Speed: 24 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 16.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Looked and felt breezy but 118l/8.5m only just about planed. Changed 42 to 48cm fin which was better, as current seemed to take back of board away. Wind picked up so back to 42cm fin and played with sail setting. First time with 8.5m Ram, never felt overpowered whilst others did so guess that means 8.5m Ram has very good wind range. Cams make it slow to come round but guess I'll learn; fell in a lot as current seemed to take back of board away and hard to restart by river as clew dug in. Not too bad even when luff filled;floppy leach sticking if biggest drag. Sailing along sail feels lighter than I expected.
Cams sometimes did not fully rotate and playing on land with Andy's help maybe battens were too tight. North ratchet Xti makes adjusting and getting luff tension much easier; expensive and impressive. Big difference to rotational in terms of better stability and top-end, harder to gybe as slower
Had my first nose dives with 118l which sails flat, first was coming in to gybe so was luckily unhooked and flew through air, second was as short waves appeared and dug nose in, banged knee which is sire.
